MANDATORY PRE-RACE BRIEFING At Xel-Há Park on registration day in Cozumel salon at Xel-Há Park during the following schedules to choose at:15:00 hrs, 17:00 hrs & 19:00 hrs. PARTICIPANTS ARE ENTITLED TO: • One souvenir t-shirt. • Finalist medal. • Swim cap. • Competitor number for cycling. • Competitor number for race. • Competitor number for helmet. • Supplies during competition and at finishing line. • Locker • Special discounts in stores and water activities inside the park. Valid only for competitor on the day of the event. • Result and timing certification available in Internet at www.triatlonxelha.com Important Information: All competitors allow the organizers and/or their designees to use their voice and image for the promotion of the 2nd Sprint Xel-Há Triathlon. BODY MARKING OR STAMPING Body marking of competitors will be done both on arms and legs during registration day at Xel-Há’s parking lot before registering bicycles. Important Information: No marking will be carried out on the day of the event. TRANSITION ZONE (ZTR): Bicycles will be received in the ZTR on Saturday November 13th from 12:00 hrs to 21:00 hrs. You must present the form for bicycle reception completed correctly which is included in your Race kit. You will only be able to leave your bicycle (shoes, helmet and other personal accessories will not be received). Bicycles will be kept in a secure, supervised location at the ZTR. You will be able to pick up your bicycle when the event has finished to ensure safety of competitors. Important Information: No bicycles will be received the day of the event. ROUTES: Visit our web site www.triatlonxelha.com ELECTRONIC TIMING: The latest technology for partial and total timing will be used with a borrowed sensor and timing CHIP that you will place on your ankle during the whole competition. The chip must be returned at the end of the race in exchange of your medal. OFFICIAL RESULTS: Official results will be posted on our website www.triatlonxelha.com on the event day starting at 18:00 hrs where you will be able to print your official certification. JUDGES AND RULES: Judges will be appointed by the organizing committee and by the Mexican Triathlon Federation and the judges decisions will be indisputable. RULES The event will observe the current regulations of the FMTRI (Mexican Triathlon Federation). FIRST AID SERVICES: We advise all competitors to carry out a medical exam before the competition. All competitors are responsible for their own health, as the organizing committee will NOT be held responsible for the risks taken. First Aid services will be available during the event in case of an emergency. If you suffer any disease we should know about, please mention it in your registration form in case you require medication or suffer allergies. PRIZES: •An acknowledgement for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of categories starting at 12 years old and older including relays. •Special raffle for minor categories from 9 to 15 years old with competitor’s number. Gifts to be raffled: Xel-Há surprise kits, swim with dolphin programs, manatee encounters, entrance tickets to Xel-Há, Xcaret and Xplor. •$30,000 pesos (MXN) to be shared between the five first overall places in male and female categories.
